The Solid Food Experience

Lucas went to the doctor on the 22nd and has finally started to put on some weight. At his 3 month appointment he weighed 11 lbs 8 oz. At this appointment he weighed 14 lbs 6 oz. Almost a 3 pound gain!!!! The doctor also gave us the go ahead to start Lucas on some solid food, so he has been eating rice cereal for about 3 days. He isn't real fond of it yet, but he is getting there.

Bentley: Our Other "Baby"

I wanted to share a few photos of our other baby, our awesome dog Bentley. He is 3 years old and actually shares a birthday with Lucas. Yes, we are those people who know their dog's birthday and actually celebrate it. He has been doing pretty well since Lucas came, but I think a part of him is still wondering when Lucas is going to be leaving.

So Lucas actually got blessed on the first of June but I just realized that there wasn't a single picture of it in the slide show. It was an awesome day and he looked adorable so I wanted to share some pictures.
