Lucas' Birthday

Surprise! We aren't dead. So to those 3 people who still read my blog (Hi Mom! Hi Grandma and Grandpa), here are a few things that have happened in the last 6 months.

Lucas turned 3. We had a little party at home with a few of his friends and he had a great time and got some great gifts.

Here he is opening some presents.

Blowing out the candles.

Me with the birthday boy.

This was his regular cake...those are trains in case you can't tell.

I had a little trouble with the gray so it is hard to tell but this is Thomas the Train. That was the theme of the birthday party.

January and February

I put Bentley at the top because the poor guy gets no love anymore...so here is our awesome dog Bentley.:)

Here are the boys jumping on the trampoline.

Sledding in the backyard.

Rooting on the Rebs with our Hey Reb! doll. Go Rebels!!!

Lucas got the last dollar to earn his Thomas the Train toy. He was beyond thrilled. :)

Kellen after enjoying some delicious blueberry pancakes.

Both of my boys have loved feeding themselves bottles and I think it is awesome!

Kellen at the park on one of the warmer days of February.

Kellen jumping on the trampoline.

He has started army crawling all over.

January... so far.

January has been an adventure. Kellen was really sick early in the month, we had to wrestle Lucas into a hair cut and it has been COLD so we have spent a lot of time indoors. We are ready for the warm weather.

I don't remember what I did but they thought it was hilarious.

My boys sure love each other.

Lucas can sleep anywhere. Here he is asleep with his had in a bowl full of Cheetohs.

Anyone that has seen Toy Story 3 will know what this is. We use a lot of tortillas this way.

Lucas sticking his tongue out at me.

Lucas and Wayne playing the the snow.

Happy baby...he is swiftly on his way to crawling.

If you look close you can see his two little teeth.

All smiles.

Kellen was really sick early in the month and was on breathing treatments. Here he is in the process.

December

We had a great December/Christmas. We spent Christmas at home and it was fun to have the time all to ourselves.

Here are the boys opening presents Christmas day. They weren't to keen on posing for the camera.

Here are the boys with Santa.

Lucas is such a great big brother and loves to hold Kellen. Kellen doesn't always seem quite as thrilled. :)

Wayne and the boys at the Capitol Christmas tree lighting.

Kellen got some fake food for Christmas and thought this corn was delicious.

Our best Christmas present this year. He came a bit early. :)

We went sledding and this is how Kellen spent the day. Thanks Shelley for letting us use this awesome backpack.

Kellen at his first Rebel game.

Santa brought this for both boys.

Two of Lucas' favorite Christmas toys.

This is Lucas and Matilda on the sledding hill, Lucas thought it was great and wasn't scared at all.

Lucas with Santa...he told him he wanted Big Buzz.

November

We had our first snowstorm of the year on Wayne's birthday, we spent Thanksgiving with friends in Reno and had an all-around good time in November.

Here is Lucas with our first snowman of the year. He was a Rebel fan all the way.:)

We made Turkey hats. Here is Lucas with his.

We bought Halloween costumes on the cheap. Here is Lucas in his 22 cent Buzz Lightyear costume.

My big boy!!!

He is baring quite a bit of chest in this one, it was obviously time to move up a size.

He started sitting up by himself this month. He thinks it is pretty cool.

Here they are with their turkey hats. I think Lucas is trying to smile here.

My two boys!

October

Considering how horrible I have been about blogging I am going to try and catch up in the next couple of days by just posting a few pictures from each month. Obviously a lot of other stuff happened besides what is featured in the pictures but I have to start somewhere. :)

Here are the boys Halloween outfits. Lucas was Woody and Kellen was a penguin.

We went to a pumpkin patch before Halloween and Lucas thought this "horse" was the best. He is saying Yee-Haw!

He also learned to fly...or jump of the top of our bed. (This "awesome" activity was created when I was gone.)

Here are Kellen and I at the Nevada Day parade.

Kellen is still as happy as can be. :)
