On Memorial Day we decided at the last minute to go to Sacramento and go to the zoo. Wayne had the day off and it was great to go somewhere and do something as a family. (This is one of 3 new posts that I am doing today...so check out the other 2 below.)
These are the flamingos and they were one of Lucas' favorite animals...probably because they were so close and he could see them really well.
This is him looking over the glass at some animal but for the life of me I can't remember which one.

Taking off to find more animals...don't worry Wayne is right there he just isn't in the shot.
This is at the end of the day and you can tell he is ready to go home.
It was a lot of fun and a great family trip.

How fun!! The last picture cracks me up, thats the look I get from Lauren almost everytime I get out the camera now lol!
He is soooo cute. I can't wait to give him kisses and hugs on Friday. I am counting the hrs.
