We have been able to do a lot of fun things over the summer so I thought I would put up some pictures of our different adventures.
We were able to go to Wayne's family reunion which was a lot of fun. It was nice to see the family even if there were a few to many BYU fans there for my taste. :)
This is us at the point. I thought we were going to die on the way up but we made it.
This is Lucas riding in the wagon at the cabin. He loved being with all the people and spending so much time outside. This is also a good example of his cautious nature...notice his death grip on the sides. He would never be the child that tries to stand up in the wagon.
We were able to go and visit my parents and for some reason their bath tub scared him to death...this is him NOT wanting to take a bath. (I would also like to point out my parents new carpet, any of you who saw it before know that it is a marked improvement.)
This is Lucas enjoying his first Otterpop. Of course there was sticky red juice and chucks of ice all over my floor...but hey a kids got to do what a kids got to do. :)
This is Lucas at the park. He loves to swing and giggles and claps the whole time.
This is the 4th of July. They set off the fireworks at the high school here in Carson City, which happens to be right next door to our church. Needless to say we had great seats and Lucas wasn't scared at all, if anything he was bored.:)
This is Lucas getting his first haircut. Alright, that might be overstating. I just trimmed around his ears and on the back so that it was even. He did good, but I was a nervous wreck. :)

He is too cute!! Lauren and Lucas sound a lot alike, shes very cautious also and LOOOOVES the swing! I wish we lived closer so they could play together!
Can I just say I can't believe Lucas looks so calm while you are cutting his hair! I wish my kids would do that!
Fun pictures!! I wish Drew was as cautious as Lucas. He has fallen off the couch a few times, and down the stairs, and down the driveway (just to name a few). They need to hang out so Lucas can teach Drew a thing or two.
I'm so impressed with Lucas' ability to sit still during a haircut. Nick's absolutely petrified of them. Literally, it takes a week of me telling him, "We're going to cut your hair soon," and then it takes heavy doses of bribery to get him to even sit down. (Last time, I had to give him an entire package of Oreos in order to get him in the bathroom--no lie.) And then, I have about 10 minutes max to get it done, or else he throws a fit and leaves. Can we trade kids?
And what is (was) wrong with my burgandy carpet? It was good for 20 years. Love the pictures. Cute little guy.
Looks like you have been havin' fun! He is getting so big! hope all is well! I do have to say while burgandy is a nice color, the new carpet looks really nice! :)
