So I am a horrible blogger and I don't do it forever and then you get these huge long posts. Oh well...here it goes.
Lucas LOVES Sesame Street...especially Elmo. I will be honest...I let him watch it. He is just so enthralled the whole time. Here is the proof.
This is him watching Sesame Street...and yes he holds Elmo and Grover the whole time. I also realize that his hair looks long and ridiculous which leads to the next part of the post.
Lucas' first real haircut! We have trimmed it up in the past but, it was time for a real haircut...he was starting to look like a real ragamuffin.
He thought it was the funniest thing. He laughed almost the whole time. I am not sure if it was the buzzing of the clippers or what but he enjoyed it.
See what I mean. I have heard this doesn't last so I will enjoy it while I can. He looks so much better without all the wispy cat fur hair. :)
We also took a trip to Lincoln County for my High School 100 year anniversary. It was a lot of fun and Lucas had a blast. These are some of my favorite pics from the weekend.
This is Lucas and I at the assembly. They did all sorts of stuff to represent the different decades. I was a lot of fun...even Lucas sat through the whole assembly without a peep.
This is Lucas laying a big one on his friend Matilda...a ladies man already. :) Although the next picture on the camera is of her pushing him down so I am not sure it was entirely appreciated. :)
This is Lucas enjoying the parade. It was soooo hot. Carson City has super mild weather so even the heat in Lincoln County was too much for us. He did go get some candy that they threw out but Lucas isn't a big fan of sweet stuff so I don't think he ate a single piece.
This is Lucas watching the football game. This picture reminds me of the cover of the movie Friday Night Lights which totally reminded me of high school in LC so I really like this picture.
This is Lucas watching the fireworks. It was about 10 o'clock at this point which is why he looks a little glazed over. He loved the fireworks though...so much in fact that he had a meltdown when they were over. He keep pointing to the sky and crying. He wanted more fireworks so badly.
Well there you go...a marathon post. We also just moved into a new house...once it is finally put together I will take pictures to post.

He looks so grown-up in these pictures. Seems like forever since we saw you guys in person. He is adorable with the sesame street thing. Isn't it great when they sit still for that long.
