Lucas has finally caught on to a lot of new things lately. He is such a laid back boy. I think that he could have done a lot of this awhile ago, he just wanted to wait until it was a good time for him. He has finally caught on to hands and knees crawling (after almost 2 months of the army crawl), cruising, and climbing stairs. Below are some pictures of his new discoveries.
This is one of his favorite toys and he loves to walk across the room with it.
This is his frame by frame progress up the stairs. I swear he did this overnight. One day he couldn't the next he could. Needless to say, there is now a gate at the bottom of the stairs, because he can go up, but not down. At least not without hurting himself. :)
Finally...the infamous hands and knees crawl. This boy LOVES to army crawl and he still does it the majority of the time, but he can finally do it the conventional way and I count it as a victory.
He seems pretty pleased too! :)

That is fun to see him growing up! We are coming out to LV and UT for Springbreak. I was thinking all along that we would see you but then, just now while reading this, I remembered you aren't in LV anymore and now I am so sad and Lukie boy looks even more cute to me because I know I won't be able to see him. Sad sigh.
Hey we have that same color carpet! Not that you really care or anything but I thought you should know! He is getting so big! He looks a lot like you very cute!
He is getting so big! This is one of my favorite ages because they learn and do something new all the time. So fun!

Ok, Stacey says he looks like you, But I was totally going to say how much I think he looks like WAYNE! LOL He is a cutie. Noah was the same way- so super slow at everything! He still has his own pace for things! LOL
Does Lucas still wear his helmet at all, or is he over that already?
